I know how frustrating it feels to have new apps being installed into your smart phone without your permission. I first got it when i installed third party apps from the website and not from Google Play App Store. I have done it before but never have any problems until this happen to me. Apparently it is a malware where it gained control of your device to install new apps, you allows it when installing the apps.
So, lesson learned and never will i install apps from other than Google Play again. However, with this step maybe it will not be a problem anymore.
I've tried the below methods, but to no avail.
1. Install Anti-virus app. I installed Avast Anti Virus. Nothing detected.
2. Install Ads On Detector app. Maybe some background push notification enables the smart phone to install apps without permission. However, it fails to detect any problem.
3. Reboot smart phone. After all the backup and reset to factory setting process is done, as soon as i reconnect to the wi-fi, a new app being installed! another fail attempt.
I noticed before a new app is being installed, a screen with 'FirewallService' shows up for a few seconds. From what i've come to know from the internet is that this malware cannot be deleted or removed, it's been rooted into the device the moment it is allow to it access the device (hence, that's why Reboot fail to solve this problem because it's been altered, i don't know maybe the coding inside the system).
However, it occur to me one thing. Since it can't be removed, then you can only do one thing, to DISABLE it. And so i did this and that and walla my phone stop installing new apps, it's like magic!
Not going to waste time no more, so here it is. It worked for me and i hope it work for you too.
Steps to follow:
1. first, confirm that the 'FirewallService' is running at your system background. Go to the 'Running' tab of the 'Application Manager'. Setting> General> Application Manager> Running
2. If it shows up at the list of running apk, now go to 'All' tab at 'Application Manager'. Setting> General> Application Manager>All
3. find 'FirewallService' among the list and DISABLE it. Don't just 'Force Stop' it because it will run again on its own.
4. If you see 'TimeService' at the Running' tab in 'Application Manager', DISABLE it as well at the 'All' tab of "Application Manager'. This is a malware as well and contribute to the installing problem.
And that's it, new apps will not be installed to your device without your permission anymore! Just remember not to enable these thing and your device will be alright.
It work for me like magic, tell me if it work for you too.
